The Ocean Isle Fishing Center (OIFC) is a staple of the Brunswick Beaches sportfishing community. Whether you're looking for some gear to take home to loved ones from Ocean Isle or you're an experienced fishermen looking for top of the line tackle, OIFC is the place for you.

I recently had the experience of fishing in one of their most popular tournaments, the Jolly Mon King Classic with my family. Although we were far from taking home the grand prize, the fishing was great and the events at the fishing center were fun for the whole family. Since a young age, I've been coming to Ocean Isle Beach and we always worked the Jolly Mon classic, even before the fishing center was open! I love seeing the young children out their with friends, cousins, brother and sisters getting in on the fishing action.

If you're an Ocean Isle Beach local, you've definelty spent some time at OIFC shopping, eating, filling the boat up with gas or telling your latest fishing tales. If you're visiting the island this summer, you won't be able to miss it, it's the first eye-catching structure as you make it over the bridge! There's always lots of buzz and activities surrounding the fishing center so it's worth stopping by while on the island.
